Life Is About More Than Where You've Been.
I believe where you start in life doesn't have to determine where you finish.
My journey hasn't followed a traditional path. From navigating the foster care system and experiencing incarceration to pursuing higher education and building a career in leadership, I've learned that circumstances can influence our lives without having to define our futures.
Those experiences shaped how I think about purpose, possibility, personal responsibility, and the importance of having a clear direction.
My story isn't simply about overcoming obstacles. It's about learning to see beyond present circumstances and developing a vision for what comes next.
A Foundation Built on Learning and Leadership.
Education has played a significant role in my personal and professional development. After earning my GED while incarcerated, I continued pursuing higher education and professional growth.
I also earned an associate degree and a bachelor's degree in business management. My doctoral research focuses on vision clarity, strategic alignment, and organizational performance among leaders.
My academic background and experience in healthcare, business, and leadership inform how I approach strategy, decision-making, and personal development. My lived experiences have taught me equally valuable lessons about resilience, responsibility, and direction.
Why Vision Coaching?
I believe many people don't lack ambition, intelligence, or potential. What they often lack is clarity about where they want to go and how their daily decisions connect to that destination.
A person can be busy without making meaningful progress. They can accomplish goals that don't align with what matters most to them.
My approach to vision coaching centers on honest reflection, identifying priorities, defining direction, and aligning actions with what matters.
I don't believe a coach should dictate someone else's future. I believe coaching should help people develop the clarity and ownership to make intentional decisions for themselves.
Why I Do What I Do.
I know what it means to have a past that others might believe limits your future.
I also know what it means to pursue a direction that once seemed out of reach.
Those experiences are why I care about helping people see possibilities beyond their current circumstances.
Through coaching, writing, and conversations, I want to encourage people to question assumptions, confront what isn't working, and become more intentional about the lives they're building.
My book, Write the Vision, reflects that philosophy: understanding reality, defining direction, and aligning actions with what matters.
I don't promise that having a vision will make life easy or eliminate obstacles. I believe it can give people a clearer reason to keep moving forward.
Clarity Creates Direction.
Your next chapter begins with a clearer vision.
